Where's the DOC! - material mapping
I can't seem to get an answer on the "autodesk" forum - so I am guessing that this is unknown.
and since I've played with this in the last 24 hours, not happy with what I've seen....
I am looking for documentation that show how textures are going to be mapped based on the method one uses for creating geometry in Revit.
For instance
Left extrusion - if you creat an extrusion with the line function and work point in a clock-wise (CW) manor, it rotates the map 90 deg. to the right.
Right extrusion - ...... work poins in a CCW order, map is not roated
Then....
what determins the sides of the extrusions.
Basically I would like to see what Autodesk has documented on this issue. If I draw it correctly everything should work out, I just need sure,
these are just basic objects to start with
