I have two models in Revit 2011 that have items that are not showing in any views. I restored a backup and tried to copy and paste between the two models and it warns me that there are duplicate items in the same area. Once I get this message all remaining components of that type show up.
Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestion as to what would cause this?
I made sure the items weren't hidden or turned off in the model and the views. Looked at view depth settings and tried to place a view range prior to copying in the elements again.
The only way to get them to show is to copy one of the type from a backup model and paste it in. Then the other same type show.
Why would items hide themselves and not allow you to turn them back on?
Thanks for the help
