I'm using a Lenovo W520 for my Revit Architecture 2012. Awesome configuration, everything is perfect except for one thing, the NVidia Quadro 1000M 2GB.

Attached is the screenshot of what the problem is: notice the quick access toolbar? It's barely discernible due to over-exposure-type of issue, but what exactly makes this happen? Anyone has the same issue here???

Hey there,
Kinda similar situation with my newer machine & Windows 7
I found the solution to be to minimize the screen and then stretch it to the max until almost maximized.
(Maximizing the screen is what causes it on my machine.)
Hope this helps
Steven

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply. It turned out it was the Intel HD graphics problem. I ended up turning off the Intel HD and switch to using discrete Nvidia only, then the problem was resolved. Very odd problem. But thanks.

Had you tried disabling Aero?

Yeah, I had to disable Aero with my Quadro 2000...but I have noticed a few window issues here and there still, but I still have hardware acceleration turned on too...

I guess when you have a 500$ pro graphic card, the tiny integrated graphic card on your processor is redundant.
