shed roof slope issue

I'm creating a large shed roof sloping in one direction. Having an issue where 2 roof eaves are not staying flat - they're basically pitching downward. I've tried the 'defines slope' and 'slope arrow' both of which aren't working. Should I be splitting this into separate roofs? I'm probably missing something obvious here..

The two lines at the bottom of your sketch are slope defining. This is what's causing the problem. If it's a shed roof only one of those lines can define the slope especially if they aren't parallel. Set just the 'horizontal' sketch line as slope defining and then you can adjust the heights offset to put it at the right elevation.
