I have a slab on grade & isolated footings modeled, so they are both "Structural Foundations". The slab creates an empty line in my footing schedule. If I remove the line, it of course deletes the slab. Any idea how I can get it to NOT show up in the schedule?

I did just find one way - I filtered the schedule to only show elements with a Type Mark >0. Works, but it's a work-around. I'd still like to know if there's a more correct way for my footing schedule to only show footings & not slabs.

The filter is the intended way to reduce a schedule to show only specific items or kinds of items. As long as multiple entities can "pose" as the thing you want to model you'll be faced with some filtering to create various schedules.

What we do in my office is we filter by assembly code, just in case we need to show a Type Mark for any reason. Normally this means changing the Foundation Slab from A1010110 to just A1010.
