material export/imoprt

Are Archies are working in a model and we have a separate model for structure. There's lot of exposed steel on this project. My archie set up a material, he was able to save it (not sure where) and he would like me to use it.
Is there anyway to import material from RA to RS?

I believe you can use the Transfer Project Standards tool on the Manage tab to accomplish this.
Both projects must be open in one session, unless you have the Arch model linked into your project, then it should be available in the Transfer Project Standards dialog box. Simply select materials only, and all materials from the Arch model will be transferred to your model.
