I have linked several models into mine.
I am looking to show the room names ans the CAD links that are on the floor without having to revert to "By linked view" display settings.
I am using Revit MEP. For the room names, I do not want to use spaces and have the room name show up in the tags. I have no use for Spaces at the moment, so I do not feel like dealing with them just for room names.

You cannot tag the Room Names of a linked model....in 2011
You really do need to revert to "By Linked View"...in 2011
Sorry for the information!
But In 2012 you can tag the Room names

Thanks, that shows there is hope for room names.
Any idea for 2d plan elements? I guess "By Linked View" is the only answer for now.

If you are running MEP why aren't you using Space Lables instead of Room Lables? My understanding is that Space Lables will take on the Name and Number of the room and then add Vollume. We are Linking in the Architectural modle and leaving the Room Names up to them.
I confuse easily!

Jonathan: I don't really have any reason to use spaces and spaces only tag if they are present in my model (as far as I know). I don't want to place spaces, drag them up to the ceiling in section and deal with the ceiling inconsistencies just to gain access to room names. As well, the rooms have many many divisions that I would somehow have to deal with is spaces.
