I see that if you delete a level, any object using it as a base or host will also be deleted. Is there a way to see how many (or a list of) objects that are using that level as a host? I have some I'd like to delete, but don't want to lose any elements.

I'm pretty sure that the warning message will list the deleted elements. You may want to change the type of hosting or create a similar family type before deleting the level to avoid those objects going away.

No, Revit will not tell you what model elements are being deleted when you delete a level. It will only tell you what views will be deleted. I have used the workaround described in this blog post: http://do-u-revit.blogspot.com/search?q=delete+level

Thanks! That workaround will work, though it would be nice if the factory could throw us a bone...
