Group;
What is the difference when installing Revit 6.1 for the default usage (architectural, structural or construction)?
Does it make a difference and if so what is the difference?
Do you also get this option when installing version 7.0?
Thanks;

It affects which template is used by default, what buttons appear in the design bar to the left and the units used I believe.

Greg;
Thanks for the reply.
Do you know if there is any documentation about this that would explain the differences in detail?
Any links or leads would be appreciated.

Didn't get an answer to my question; but I pretty much figured it out. It really doesn't affect much of the installation, all the families will install and you can change it later when you start a new project. You just need to select which template you want to use for your new project and Revit will start up based on your template.
I gather it just tells Revit which is your default template to use when you install.
