Map of the USA

I am looking for a map of the United Stated and it needs to have city's and major roads. I would love to find one that is native to the DWG or DXF formatting. Does anyone know where a person might find a source for such a file?

The USGS has free mapping data. You can download from the National Map Seamless Server (http://seamless.usgs.gov/). Maps with the kind of detail you're looking for are not usually available in dwg format.
