We've dived head-first into IFC exports to move from Little BIM to Big BIM (exchange models with partners), and the first thing we noticed was that the position of floors were seriously wonky. A quick search learned that the latest update for Revit 2012 should fix that.
However, I discouraged drafters from updating because it prevents some files from opening, because of outdated elevation tags.
Does anyone know an easy way to fix this? Do I need to tell everyone except me to install the update, and ask me to fix the elevations when they cant open a certain file?
