Add new area types?

Is it possible to add new area types? We are designing a car dealership and there are a couple of specialist area types I would like to add. Would I be better off naming individual areas and them adding them together in the schedule?

Under Area Setting - rentable -New, select any name for the scheme.

Than just place and name area tags for that scheme and schedule.
