I'm exporting a Revit file to DWF for the purpose of bringing it into Navisworks. The reason I like the DWF export versus the Navisworks export tool is the way it organizes the data in Navisworks. The DWF format breaks the model into it's Revit categories, thus making it simple for me to run a clash on say, Structural Framing and Piping.
However, the DWF format doesn't export the Shared Coordinates, but the Project Origin as 0,0,0. So it's good for one model, but if I'm utilizing Shared Coordinates, the DWF files come in to different locations in Navisworks.
Has anyone had success using the Navisworks export tool in Revit where you could easily find "Walls" or "Plumbing Fixtures" without searches?
Has anyone found a way to export a DWF using Shared Coordinates?
