Schedule Tutorials/Examples

Does anyone know where I can find presentations, pdfs, tutorials or revit templates which showcase the different ways that schedules can be leveraged within a project to make that embedded info useful. I understand typically these schedules are a result of unique issues within a project. As a result people may not feel the need to explain or share how they use schedules. I know though, that there are probably some pretty amazing things which people have done with all that data.
Schedules have definitely been the most elusive thing to find info about on the internet. So far I have found two very helpful examples. The first dealing with programming and the second dealing with room data sheets.
