I need to bring in AutoCAD details in Revit with simplex.shx, romans.shx fonts etc., and I have hundreds of 2D details.
I have changed the shxfontmap.txt and it converts the .shx fonts to .ttf fonts, but only when I explode the imported AutoCAD file. I could live with that but it creates dozens of additional font styles with the prefix of the AutoCAD file name. Can the fonts be converted without exploding? Or can the additional font styles be avoided?
When using the 'Link CAD' funtion, the fonts listed the shxfontmap.txt are ignored and substituted with something unknown. Is there a way to tell Revit which font should it use as a substituion?
