Copy and paste error

When I copy something from a specific dwg file, paste in another file and then try save the other file, the autocad crashs and stop working. This error only occurs with this specific file.

There are no error messages. The autocad just stop responding.


Anyone know how to fix this?

insttead of doing a copy-paste. try WBlocking out the elements you need to a dwg file, open that file and AUDIT it for errors.

Then purge, save, close, and try inserting that cleaned up dwg into the destination drawing with the INSERT command.

what happens then?
