First international project I've ever worked on. I can't get it to plot to scale with our current titleblock. Does anyone have any tips on what to do? I'm about to go crazy here!!!

I started from scratch with the autocad metric template. Ref'd in survey, ref'd in proposed building(which autocad automatically did the conversion). But now I'm stuck setting up my layout. I inserted my Tblk(which should of been converted, right) and I can't figure out how to get my vp scales and plot settings right. I know it's gotta be simple but I'm missing something here.

HELP!!!!!

However, can you upload a sample drawing so we can have a look.

The titleblock/border is usually drawn at 1:1 but you will be plotting to different sheet sizes - probably ISO `A' series so your border will need to be adjusted.

Plot scales should have sensible ratios - like 1:50 instead of 1:48 (=1/4":1') so they should be adjusted. Depending on your setup, this might require changes to your dimensioning.

... and so on ...

Its easier in metric. :D

ISO A series have different proportions as compared to papers in Inches. So your TBlock even if its automatically scaled, won't perfectly fit in ISO A- papers. I think it would be better if you will create a separate Title block drawn in 1:1mm as John suggested.

Insert this in paper space, as it is (scale=1.0), then your page setup Plot scale will always be 1mm=1 unit even if you are plotting in different scales. (I guess for easier setting of vpscales)
Create your viewports. VPScales will be the same as your desired scale. Say 1:100, command will be zoom; 1/100xp; . Piece of cake. :D

For this to work, your objects in model space must also be drawn in millimeters (i.e. 1 meter=1000 units) which is the standard practice.
