2 views for one section

Dear all,

I have to show one of section in two parts. as whole section does not get fit in sheet. how can i break this section in two parts so that in plan it is tagged with one or same section head. Is it possible.

I'm assuming this is a wall section. In the section look at the crop boundary, you will see blue zig zag lines, click that it will remove a portion of the section allowing you to adjust the extents as needed.

Dependent views work well for this if you need to show the whole section split & placed on separate sheets.

Make a dependent duplicate of your section view.

Rename the section view and dependent view, i.e. Section 1 - LH, and Section 1 - RH.

Go to the LH view and drag the view boundary over to show what you want in that view.

Do the same for the RH view. You'll see a dotted line showing the boundary of the LH view to which you can align.

Once the section views are placed on sheets, your section tag in plan view will appear like the attached image.
