Area Plans

Hi;
I am trying to create area plans in Revit 2012. I used Home-Room/Area-Area Plan. The plan comes out as a blank sheet. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

You now have to create the area boundaries and the areas, do the tutorials they will help you.

Scott, this is actually an issue with Revit that hasn't fully been resolved to be honest. I only dig this up cause, well low and behold, we're having the same issue, and for the life of me, i can't find the problem!

We're trying to create area plans for some of our design options, and some work, and then some are blank. anyone else had this issue?

--The worst part : they used to work fine and then went blank
--We've tried deleting them to remake them : no dice!
--It's not a VG thing, it's not a phasing thing, NOTHING shows up. If i make a selection box, my filter icon says i have a few hundred items selected, but nothing shows up.
--Reveal hidden elements shows me nothing.
