hi, does everyone knows how to create a beam following the slope of a ramp? a beam means structural framing category, not as a railing category then change its profile. coz we want to get the volume of that beam, you can not get it as a railing function. pls help. tnx.

I don't know how to make it follow the ramp per se, but you can set a vertical offset at each end of the beam in the beam instance properties. You may even be able to align and lock the beam to the ramp and it may update if the ramp's slope is changed.

In my opinion, a railing with custom profile continues to be the best solution. If you are concerned about the volume, find the area of the profile and multiply by the length of the ramp. A beam would not follow or adjust to a ramp as a railing does.
