I'm pretty new to Revit, yet have been using Max for 15 years now.

My problem is that when I link an Acad file, (with it own xrefs) to my Revit model, the nested xrefs do not come thru at all. The xref files even display properly in the thumbnail view, but once linked in Revit, all the Acad xrefs are gone.

Is there a trick that I'm missing?

Thanks.

I would say the xrefs in the drawing are set to overlay, so this is expected behavior - open the AutoCAD dwg and change the xrefs to be "Attached" instead of "Overlay"

i'm having the same issue, but my nested xrefs, ARE attached to the original file, and still not showing up. (revit 2022) i've also verified that all layers are on in the revit view manager.
wondering if anyone has additional sugestions?
