I am seeking an arts and crafts/prairie school look at a porch. It has railings at the porch and at the stair. The porch baluster top and bottom aligns with it's host, the porch level, and is horizontal. The stair baluster aligns with its host, the stair, and is at an angle. But at the stair I want the top of the baluster to be at an angle parallel to the stair and the base to be horizontal, parallel with the ground plane.
How do I do this? The stair baluster host selection seems to define the angle for both the top railing and the bottom of the baluster as the same angle. Am I misunderstanding something?
On the attached pdf the ground plane is hidden to show the angled stair baluster incorrectly extending into the soil. This is NOT what I want at the stair railing base. The base should look like the adjacent porch baluster.
