Renumbering schedule blocks

I am running autocad 2004 and I need to know how to automatically renumber objects. For example, if I have 100 doors on my floor plan and I have to delete door 50, I need to know how I can get the rest of the doors to automatically renumber themselves, is this even done through attributes and blocks? I tried to download insertC & insertB from cadstudio but can't figure out how to make it work (not even 100% sure if that's what I need???) How do I get this to work? Thank you in advance!

Did you do a search like I suggested in your other post? I found several that might be of use to you. Also, its against forum guidelines (http://forums.augi.com/faq.php) to title a posts with "Need Help". Use something more descriptive of the actual problem so that others doing a search can locate useful information. Also, using all caps is perceived as shouting.
