I'm working/learning Revit from a model that I received from another office.

My issue - I'm working on the project in 2d view, and I want to look at the 3d view. When I go the View - 3D pulldown, everything disappears. I've fiddled with the icons but no model.

Am I missing a step? Help!

Nevermind. I see he's set up some views I can use.

Thanks for reading!

When that happens, zoom out or zoom all. Most likely the object is out of the view.

When you zoom out, you will have room on the screen to enlarge the view window. Click the view frame. Four dots will appear. Drag them out.

Basically you picked a bad camera view. When these things happen, once you force the object into the view, it is usually very distorted.
