add new “area types”

Is there a way to add new “area types”

When creating a new Area Plan: Rentable, then you have the options of: Building Common Area, Office Area, Exterior Area, Floor Area, etc..
When creating a new Area Plan: Gross Building, then you have the options of: Building Common Area, and Exterior Area.

But I need to create my own set of area types and be able to add to them as I see fit, just like I do for “occupancies” using the room tool.

Any way to do that?

The area types are coded into the software and from what I understand cannot be changed. You only have the ability to create new Area Schemes and assign the preset area types to that scheme.

I could not figure out how to change them either.
Maybe you could utilise some of the other parameters under the Area properties.
