Bracing won't join beams

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to revit when it comes to structural steels so have been struggling with this.

I have a situation where I want diagonal bracing (in the form of CHS) to span between certain beams, in terms of the 3D model I can get the beams to all join perfectly to each other but can't get the diagonal bracing to join in the same way can someone shed some light on how i should be doing this (I'm using Revit Architecture 2012)

Try using a "Framing Elevation" under the Structural tab.

Also, check the cross brace member's properties for a "end-gap" setting ( which is set by default )
and allows space for connection plates, etc.

There are also "coping" tools which will help with joins.
