Hello,

We have created call-outs to make enlarged plans, they are multiple rooms that are similar or are a mirror of the one we are blowing up.

I am placing call-outs on these rooms (referencing the original callout plan view) and I would like to show the the word SIM or MIR but it does not seem to work as I only can have one callout type for the floor plan, if I change the "Reference Label" from SIM to MIR or viceversa all the callouts change.

If you have any idea please I would really appreciate your help,

Thanks a lot,

You'll need additional Types in order to have the Reference Label say SIM and MIR. The only downside is it will organize your Project Browser differently.

Thanks Greg and sorry for my ignorance, how do I create new types?, thanks

select the callout - edit type - duplicate - give it a unique name - change the Reference Label - apply to views as needed

It does not allow to duplicate..., please see attached image, thanks,

I have found that dumbing down the RVT can be a slippery slope. It is always better to take advatage of Revit's Bi-Directional Associativity. Nonetheless one can "Reference other views" as the attachment illustrates. These can also Reference Drafting Views. Just add Text for SIM or OPP HAND.

I'm guessing you're selecting the Reference Callout - try selecting the original since that's ultimately what you need to change anyway.
