Stair Break Line Symbols

I know I've seen this done before, but a question came up the other day in the office about being able to shut off the dashed lines on a stair to look a little cleaner on some presentation drawings. Not sure the viability of the reasoning, (probably owner/client requested), but it was interesting. I noticed the break symbol has a toggle on and off, what about the break lines indicating stair steps? I don't want to just use linework with an invisible line to hide them in that view either....no cheating!
