I've had a request from one of my modelers that pendant lighting fixtures have independently adjustable lengths for the supports. My initial reaction is that I don't care if a support on a sloped surface runs into the ceiling/roof element on the low side of the slope. And on some pendant light fixtures that might mean 4 indepentent adjustments if there were 4 supports. I'm fine with a single support depth that meets the egde of the sloped surface on the high side and runs into the structure on the low side. What are your thoughts?

Have not seen you around these parts in awhile. Hope your well.Thanks. I've been swamped at work and rather busy in my personal life. I don't think things will settle down until after the first of the year. But I'm glad to be back on the RMEP forums. ;)

The larger issue is how the fixture will appear in the architects sections. It is not acceptable to have the supports projecting up into the ceiling.

I voted yes...but I think it should be done on a case by case basis. I always prefer to start simple and move toward more complicated as needed.

I too voted yes. This is particularly important when working with sloped surfaces penadants are connected to. If the default could be equall and then uncheck if need to adjust.
