Text Notes and Borders

Is it possible to give a leader and the border of the text different lineweights? I need to draw attention to a note but I don't need to make the leader line really fat.

Apparently no, but a work around this will be creating another text type with "zero" text size (actually it could be 1/32") and with a line weight of 1 (just for the leader)

Then you will have your text (with maybe 3 or 4 of line weight) and the other text with just the leader. Then you put this together and there you have it.
