I have a project with a real north and a project north and these have been set up as I want them but I have a number of small buildfings on the site which are aligned to arbitrary existing boundaries to open up the centre of the site.
Now I am producing working drawings and I want individual dimensioned views of each building to be orientated nice and square on my sheets. I don't think this is something I can do yet is it?

Based on my limited knowledge and my conversations with Joe at Revit about project north v. true north, the answer to your question is...no.

I didn't open up your attachment but I hope I understand your question. Wouldn't you get the desired results if you create a callout view and then rotate the callout to align with each building? The image is then horizontal when these are placed onto a sheet.

My understanding of views is that they can only be rotated in increments of 90 degrees and that the view title rotates too. I don't think this would accomplish what Peter's looking for.

Callout views can be rotated to any angle.
The view title is placed when the callout is in a sheet view.

I have created view title families for rotated viewports. You can't use the automatic underline since it will be rotated. But if you know which rotation you are dealing with you can set up a viewtitle for each condition and then use the appropriate family for separate viewport styles.

Its the callout trick that does what I want to do.
Thanks for your help.
As a note to anyone else following this thread, you rotate the callout on the reference view and not on the sheet! That seems to be where I was falling down.
Thanks again
