Clipped roof

This is not exactly a "revit" question, but an architectural question. I am working in a new garage with a clipped gable roof in the front (kind of half gable and half hip). I know that in a gable roof I need to provide a cross bracing at the end gable. But for in the clipped gable, do I still need the end bracing?
