I concur. I'm currently using concrete beams as grade beams. I don't have a problem with scheduleing because I usually have a schedule for grade beam alone. The problem I have is that I have to create a FIlter for Grade Beams so when I shade them not all my framing members are shaded.
It's a work-around.

Could you modify the concrete beam family to be a grade beam and then put it into the Structural Foundations category so it would schedule with foundations??? Perhaps I'm making this too simple.
