View Full Version : Unwanted grid lines

I have created a model of a school campus consisting of several buildings and have added grid lines unique to each building. The problem is that when I make callouts of plans, the view contains grid lines of all the other buildings also. I know I can use the "hide annotation" tool for each unwanted gridline but there are a lot of them.

Also, I've edited the grid lines in the model but they don't appear similarly edited in the callout.

Is there a way to select specific grid lines and preserve the editing of grid lines when creating different views?

Thanks in advance and Aloha!

Change the 3D extents of the grids to only entend as far as the individual buildings. Then, change the 2D extents to how you want it to show. Now if you click on the button at the top which says "propagate extents," you can pick the drawings that you want that grid to show in.
