Hi guys I am having a very annoying issue.
I had Revit 2011 and Revit 2012 installed on my PC. I decided to un-install Revit 2011. However my icons for Revit RVT and RFA went blank.

I decided to re-associate them with Revit 2012, but the icons do not look like the use to. I am wondering if there is a way to correct this so that I get the original document icons back.

I've had this problem, but fixed it relatively easily using this application:

http://defaultprogramseditor.com/

You just have to know where your revit icon files live, but if you do a search on your local drive for .ico files they will show up. Which in my case was here:

C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_Revit_Architecture_2012_English_Win_32-64bit\x86\RAC2012\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Shell\2012

Which is quite a mouthful.

Hope it helps.

No worries. Glad it worked!

It's one of those problems that doesn't really affect anything but is as annoying as hell for some reason!
