Matchline in Section

I have a matchline in plan, and I want it to appear in my section as well. Am I missing something, or is this not possible? The category is turned on, and it's not hidden by element or workset.

It won't show up automatically since a plan and section are not dependent views of each other. It will have to be manually placed into the section.
