Hi and apologies if this has been asked already.

In Autocad when you hit CTRL + ENTER when editing text, it commits the changes to the text and ends the command.

Is there a similar shortcut in Revit? (CTRL + ENTER just goes to a new line)

That's a good question, because ctrl+enter is pretty standard to finish a task, except in word. I don't really have an "answer" as to whether it can be done with keyboard, but you can just click somewhere outside the textbox to commit the change.
