Wall wrapping - am I missing something?

I am testing out some window families that I am working on for a new project. I have a very deep cavity wall construction and I would like to have the interior stud wall wrap back to the core when I insert a window. I have the interior framing and finish set to wrap and when I do, the interior wraps back all the way to the center line of the wall and not back to the core. Is this how it is designed to work? Is there some way that I can make the interior wrap to the face of core and not the Cl of wall?

You can set reference planes in your family that determine where the wall wraps to. It's a property of the reference plane called Wall Closure.
