Coarse Scale Fire Ratings... Showing at Fine?

We have this file that has been around for a while, admittedly, from 2008 to 09 to 10 and 11 and now to 2012. Somehow, now, our fire rating patterns applied to the walls in the Wall Properties on the Coarse Scale Fill Pattern setting are showing up at Coarse, Medium, AND Fine. Is this a bug? Or something we did to the walls? Anyone else seen this?

First thought is the Wall category LOD has been changed in the view to coarse.

Yes!

But, every view magically reset this way without user input? Upgrade bug? Real or imagined... ???

I'd love to say that fixed the problem, but it crashed the model (that has been crashing, which is why I am troubleshooting and asking questions about things like this that are.... odd).

Thanks, though, for the clue... I assumed it wasn't set that way in V/G since it was EVERYWHERE. But, I admit I was wrong. Thanks again... Now, off to reopen the file and try new things to resolve the crash bugs.
