Viewport Hiding Elements problem

Im having trouble with making my viewport only show walls and doors, but when i change the visibility/ graphics options, it also changes the visibility in my floor plan. Is there anyway to just change th visibility in one viewport?

The view on the sheet shows exactly what is in the view it was created from. Changing one also changes the other. To do what you want, select the view in the project browser, right-click, and choose Duplicate View, then Duplicate. Place that new view onto the sheet.

Welcome to the forums.
The view you are seeing in the viewport (I am guessing, placed on a sheet view) is the same view as your floor plan in the browser . If you need to have specific display properties for a sheet view (a specific viewport) without altering other views you'll need to duplicate the view.
You'll have one view of the floor plan you place on the sheet and one you can use as your 'working' view. Each can have independent V/G settings.
