I have been trying out Globelink with Revit Structure 2012.
I've aquired my location, moved it around to match the model, and exported a kmz file.
When I open that file in Goole Earth, I get an interesting result. - It apears that my building is following the topography quite literally. It doesn't seem to make a difference if I export each element as individual nodes or not.
Please see the attached image. - The building is supposed to be rectangular. - What is happening here? - Is there something I should be doing differently?

Thanks,

Chuck

Its so funny you mention this. The imaginet plugin has a check box to fix this. I don't think the autodesk version has this check box. You neeed to file a support request or post on the labs. I've done it many times with no luck on a fix from the autodesk side.

This is a bit round-about, but do you have a copy SketchUp Pro? You could export to DWG and import into SketchUp, then use SketchUp's Google Earth functions.

You could also try exporting to KMZ (or KML) with your plugin and importing to the free version of SketchUp. It may help, but I haven't tried it.
