Polyline with too many nodes!!!

I have a polyline with too many nodes, I have tried a script called "Weeds" but it says "not a polyline, its a LWpolyline"

Is there any better way to reduce the amount of nodes in a polyline?

try running CONVERTPOLY , and then weeding it

You could also try overkill, and the simplify ployline option

I am working on landbase map, having roads, footpaths & drainage.....I need a lisp, that FILLIT & BREAK the two intersecting polylines, from its center, through a single command.I appreaciat, if it also convert the arc created after fillit , into polyline with less nodes. http://forums.augi.com/images/smilie/icon_cool.gifsorry for my english...hope u all understand what i want.....Thanks in advance..plz help me..!!
