I am having problems with the graphics where my foundation walls intersect the pad footings. An extra dashed line is created at the edge of the footing, making it look like a (sort of) continuous line. In the attached image, the left side shows what I want, and the right side shows what is happening. The way I got it to show properly is to break the walls and unjoin the footing, but I'd rather not do that.

What version? Could you post a small portion of the model?

Version 2012. Here is an example file. Thanks for looking into it.

All I did was simply join the two elements together using the JOIN command.
Seemed pretty easy. No breaking / unjoining.

Sorry, I should have checked it better before uploading. If you set the footing to 7' square you will see the problem persists, even when joined.

Hmm, did you make any other changes? This is what it looks like when I set it to 7'.

The 7' footing is deeper than the other elements, so you should see this line.
which may be a good thing, to show step in bottom of footing depth.
Another question are you using the wall elements to indicate cont. footings..?
would recommend making wall type called "hidden wall" to place wall footings,
then hide this wall element.
if both footings, isolated pad and wall footing are same depth, then this line at join
will go away.
other comment, apears that you are not using the standard out of box isolated footing family.
could be some issues with your custom family..?
