I have a line based strip footing family (Isolated Foundation) that has a chamfer on both sides. on my plan view I wanted to show the bearing as hidden lines and not show the lines that intersect with the slab. I tried to put Symbolic lines hidden but the result is not what I wanted to achieve. Now I checked the Concrete rectangular beam family and it has a parameter called "Display in Hidden Views" family parameter, anybody knows how to add this parameter in a foundation family so that I have an option to show "Edges Hidden by other member" or "Edges Hidden By itself'?

Hi,

Did you ever get this resolved, I have the same problem...

dumb question, but did you try joining them to the slab?
I'm guessing this is a thickened slab condition for say under a CMU wall or something like that.
Joining might work.

Joined or not makes no difference.
