Annotation Offset

Could someone tell me how to add an offset to an annotation within a family? I have a data/voice outlet that has a backbox on the wall and the standard triangle symbol which is an annotation loaded into the family. I need to add an offset that moves the triangle off the wall but not the backbox.

In the attached screenshot, I have a similar outlet that has the offset in the family. It shows up under Constraints the properties menu with the simple name "Offset". The triangle shown below it does not have that parameter. Anybody know how I can add that parameter? The only way I know how to do it is to start over and make the family from scratch, with the offset parameter already included. Doing it that way would mean recreating 100 families though.
