changing text sizes in imported dwg's

I can't figure out why-
when I imported a cad detail into my revit project the text is too small and I can't get it to change. I've tried changing the cad file scale, changing the text size in the cad file, re-saving and re-importing. The text started at 1/8" in the cad file and I've enlarged it 3 times, (Now 3/4") and it still comes in the same size on import.

Revit tries a little too hard when it exports CAD text.
Not only does the text have an AutoCAD Text Style, but EVERY text string has embedded in it the formatting - List one of the text strings, and you'll see a lot of formatting like &B for bold &I for Italics. Not sure if those are accurate codes, but you should be able to easily pick out the format stuff.

The only way I know of to strip it out is good old LISP
