Hey everyone..

Having a problem, as We want to create a custom spot elevation symbol and load it into our project, which has been done just fine.

Our problem is now that the spot elevations won't accept a symbol in the type properties (see attached image).

Does anyone have any idea why this is or how i can change it??

I believe i have tried everything i know, but must admit that im not a RAC specialist.

Is this workset enabled file? If so, can you check "Spot Dimension Settings" workset and see you have permission to it..

I was running into the same problem. I started getting frustrated, and I thought "if I just click in some of these boxes and see what they do, maybe the option will activate". And it did. If you change the Text Location Parameter (under the Text Category in the dialogue box), from "In-Line with Leader" to "Above Leader" or "Below Leader" it will activate.
