Foundation tag aligning with foundation edge

Hello All-

I am trying to create a foundation tag that will automatically align with the edge of the host footing. With the standard foundation tag in Revit, the tag aligns with the center of the footing. This is unfortunate because a user almost never wants the tag to be placed there. My question is, does anyone know a way to access the host foundation's dimensions with the tag? This way I could create a tag that automatically offsets the the edge of the footing. Thank you, any help is much appreciated!

I don't belive what you want to do is possible. I'm sure others will chime in. Typically we just offset the label in the tag family (in relation to the intersecting reference planes) to the most common footing dimension, then adjust as necesary in the project.
