Can we get different grid symbol for duplicate view

Dear all,

I have created two floor plan, one is original and another duplicate of that floor plan. original is in 1:100 and duplicate in 1:250. but when I duplicate the floor plan in 1:250 and grids bubble get overlapped. is there any way to get grid bubble correct both in 1: 100 and 1:250.

Unfortunately the short answer is No. The work around could be to have two set of grids set on different worksets so that you can switch them on/off as per your requirements.

Often plans at the scale don't show all the grids, major only or the "bubbles" are offset so they are easier to read. The key is to define a "bubble" size that is the best compromise between the normal and the "worst" scale you intend to see them in. Use the 2D view specific options to offset the "bubbles" and/or extend them even/odd to offset them. The 2D changes are meant to be per view (local) verse model wide (global).

Remember that Revit maintains annotation size (grid heads included) because normal it would be a "sin" to make annotation smaller than the standard calls for :)

It is also possible to use a linked file that has a replicated set of grids that use a different grid head family. Assign it to a workset that is off in all views by default. Then in the 1:250 view turn that workset on so you can see it. Use a different workset than Shared Levels and Grids for your local Grids so you can turn them off. If there is a will there is usually a way. Sometimes the way is a pain though.
