To All AutoCAD User:
I need help on how to change the setting so I can have white or lighter color background instead of solid black (Too Dark) on my rendered 3D image? A quick response is highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ted

Type BACKGROUND, select SOLID, pick in the lower coloured bar, type 255,255,255.
Click OK, OK.

Thank you John, it works! The black background turns to white exacly what I need, but the image of the building model is too dark on the top and 2-sides, looks like taken on the dark night. Any settings so the model will looks like in a conceptual mode or better? Any response will be appreciated.
Thanks again,
Ted

"Shade" and "Render" are two different operations performed by two separate parts of the software.
Perhaps shade is all you really need?
If you're going to continue to render, you'll need to look into adding lights to the scene.
